"In case PAN is not seeded with AADHAAR before the date specified by the Government; it will not be considered as a valid PAN. In this regard, vide Government notification dated June 25, 2021, the effective date of Aadhaar seeding (linkage of Aadhaar with PAN) was extended up to September 30, 2021. Hence, all trading members are requested to note that PANs not seeded with Aadhaar as specified in the said notification w.e.f. October 01, 2021 will be considered as invalid for the purpose of new or existing demat accounts/ trading in Stock Market."
"SEBI in consultation with depositories had decided that steps should be taken for smooth implementation of the announcement in Union Budget 2017-18 with respect to linking of individual demat accounts with Aadhar. We would like to inform all demat account holders that we are providing facility for linking existing individual demat accounts with Aadhar. We further request all demat account holders to kindly link their demat accounts with aadhar."
